مقدمه: مراقبت تسکینی نوعی مراقبت بین‌رشته‌ای است که بر پیامدهای بیمار محور مانند کیفیت زندگی، بهداشت روان و نیازهای مراقبان تمرکز دارد. با توجه به جمعیت سالمندی و شیوع روزافزون بیماری‌های مزمن و سخت‌درمان، لزوم ارائه‌ی خدمات مراقبت تسکینی در سطوح مختلف نظام سلامت به‌ویژه در بیمارستان‌ها اهمیت بیشتری می‌یابد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسایی انواع مدل‌های مراقبت تسکینی مبتنی بر بیمارستان و مزایا و محدودیت‌های هر یک انجام شد.
روش ­ها: این مطالعه به روش مرور نظام‌یافته بود که با جستجو در پایگاه های داده انگلیسی و فارسی نظیر Web of Science، Science Direct، Scopus، PubMed، Magiran و SID  و موتور جستجوی Google scholar در بازه زمانی بین سال‌های 2005 تا 2020 انجام شد. مطالعات مرتبط، پس از حذف موارد تکراری و بر اساس معیار ورود و خروج پژوهش انتخاب شد.
یافته­ ها: از مجموع 3877 منبع، 164 منبع مرتبط انتخاب شد. به‌طورکلی نُه مدل مراقبت تسکینی مبتنی بر بیمارستان شناسایی شد که عبارتند از: درمانگاه مراقبت تسکینی سرپایی، خدمات مشاوره مراقبت تسکینی، خدمات روزانه مراقبت تسکینی، بخش اختصاصی مراقبت تسکینی بستری، خدمات مراقبت در منزل وابسته به بیمارستان، تخت‌ در گردش، ادغام با ICU، اورژانس و مدل یکپارچه. علاوه براین، مزایا و محدودیت‌های هرکدام از مدل‌ها نیز شناسایی شد.
نتیجه‌گیری: مدل‌های شناسایی‌شده در خصوص مراقبت تسکینی به بیمارستان‌ها کمک خواهند کرد که در جهت تقویت رویکرد مراقبت تسکینی عمل کنند. با توجه به محدودیت منابع به مسئولان هر بیمارستانی پیشنهاد می‌شود که این‌مدل‌ها پس از انطباق با فرهنگ، ساختار و امکانات موجود در هر بیمارستان پیاده‌سازی شود.
