مقدمه: بیماران مبتلابه سرطان روده بزرگ، ناتوانی‌ها و عوارضی را تجربه می کنند که منجر به کاهش کیفیت زندگی می شود. به منظور کاهش علائم و عوارض بیماری، کاهش هزینه‌ها و افزایش کیفیت زندگی، بیماران باید آگاهی خود را نسبت به بیماری افزایش داده و بیماری را مدیریت و کنترل نمایند. هدف این مطالعه شناسایی الزامات برنامه های کاربردی برای خودمدیریتی بیماران مبتلابه سرطان روده بزرگ بود.
روش ­ها: این پژوهش از نوع کاربردی بود که با روش توصیفی در سال 1399-1398 انجام شد. الزامات برنامه های کاربردی سرطان روده بزرگ شامل محتوای آموزشی، عناصر داده‌ها و قابلیت ها بود که نیازسنجی از بیماران، پزشکان و پرستاران انجام شد. پرسشنامه‌ها بین 114 نفر در انستیتوکانسر و بیمارستان فیروزگر تهران توزیع شد. داده‌های به‌دست‌آمده (88 مورد) با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS تحلیل و مؤلفه‌های ضروری شناسایی شدند.
یافته ­ها: یافته های این مطالعه نشان داد به‌جز نیاز به آموزش در زمینه خستگی، سایر نیازهای آموزشی ضروری قلمداد شدند. در قسمت عناصر داده ضروری، داده‌ بالینی نسبت به داده‌ جمعیت شناختی از دیدگاه بیماران، پزشکان و پرستاران ضروری‌تر تشخیص داده شد. در نهایت، از 79 قابلیت مورد سؤال، 39 قابلیت در 10 حیطه مدیریت مصرف دارو، تغذیه و رژیم غذایی، درد، خستگی، کاهش و کنترل استرس، اضطراب و افسردگی، خواب، ورزش و فعالیت بدنی، ترک سیگار و الکل، برقراری ارتباط و ابزارهای جانبی ضروری تشخیص داده شد.
نتیجه‌گیری: به کارگیری الزامات موجود در مطالعه حاضر می تواند خودمدیریتی بیماران مبتلا به سرطان روده بزرگ را بهبود بخشد. مؤلفه‌های ارائه‌شده می توانند به‌عنوان الگویی برای طراحی نرم‌افزار، سیستم یا برنامه کاربردی در دسترس کاربران قرار گیرد.
