Hospital is one of the central foundations which work in providing health care services. It plays a significant role in recovering the physical and mental health of patients through providing equipments and facilities, medical researches, and training specialists needed in health care centers. Developments and tremendous spurts in medicine especially in recent years, as well as increasing use of instruments and novel technical devices in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and scientific researches have increased the costs in these sections. Nowadays, great portion of resources in health care organizations is devoted to hospitals. This ratio is not the same for all countries however it is estimated 50-70%. Large quantity of these resources are wasted in most countries because of technical inefficiency in hospital management. It is clear that the appropriate use of these resources will make plentiful benefits for health care sections. Improving hospital efficiencies will make these centers use available resources in providing qualified services for patients. The importance is more obvious when the world is encountered with the shortage of financial resources.
