Abstract

  Introduction: Health tourism, due to its capability and competitive advantages has attracted a lot of attention among the various areas in tourism. The purpose of this study was to provide a comprehensive framework to identify and assess the direct and indirect effects of the factors affecting health tourism development in Yazd province.
Methods: After a literature review, the most important factors affecting health tourism were determined by fuzzy TOPSIS technique using interpretive structural modeling (ISM).
Results: The results of this study showed that factors associated with information update of hospital personnel and the relevance of physicians’ specialty to their duties are fundamental factors in the development of health tourism.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that the development of health tourism in Yazd province was associated with patient satisfaction from the services .In this regard this objective could be met through the investment in updating hospital facilities and improving personnel’s skills.

Abstract

Introduction: Today, health tourism is one of the growing sectors of the tourism industry in the world. Health tourism as a source of income and job creation can be an approach to national economic development. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify the factors related to creating a competitive advantage in the tourism business in the field of health.
Methods: This descriptive analytical study was conducted cross-sectionally in 2019. The Target population of this study includes activists and business owners of Mazandaran tourism industry. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Experts were used to measure the validity of the questionnaire. Two hundred copies were distributed, out of which 165 questionnaires were completed and returned. The reliability of the data collection tool was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability. Data analysis used structural equation method and Smart PLS software.
Results: The results showed that the socio-cultural situation with a path coefficient of 0.96 had a significant effect on creating a competitive advantage in health tourism in Mazandaran province. Having welfare، access to accommodation, recreational facilities, and skilled manpower with a route coefficient of 0.95 and 0.85 were in the next ranks, respectively.
Conclusion: While identifying the exact list of socio-cultural and historical capabilities of the province and introducing the welfare complexes and service-treatment centers, the trustees of the organizations should provide the necessary preparations for attracting health tourists. Furthermore, ways to identify facilities for tourists should be facilitated. Also, by training and employing skilled labor, the health tourism business will be strengthened.

Abstract

Introduction: Health tourism is a new form of marketing in the tourism industry which has been growing in recent years, health tourism is done to improve the health of people and to take them out of their place of residence.the aim if this article is presenting Health Tourism Model with emphasis on word of mouth advertising in health centers.
 
Methods: This study purpose is applied and in terms of collecting data is non-experimental and descriptive data. The researcher has attempted to identify the factors affecting the concept of health tourism by emphasizing the role of word of mouth advertising by qualitative method and using interviewing with twenty managers of Health Tourism Center, and academic experts and finaly data analyzed and presented by phenomenological approach
Results: The researcher then analyzes the data through open, axial, selective coding of the final results of his research into a model, with six main dimensions, including market attractiveness, strategy, service diversification, internal conditions, word of mouth advertising, health tourism, and Thirty-three sub-dimensions have been presented.
 
Conclusion: According to the results, it can be said that decision makers can collect and categorize the factors influencing health tourism concept.

Abstract

Introduction: Today, in dynamic environments, there are many disruptions in supply chains that negatively affect the performance and productivity of organizations; therefore, identifying the critical success factors for managing disruptions is essential. This is also true in the health tourism supply chain.The primary purpose of this study was to determine the critical success factors and design its model in the health tourism supply chain to improve resilience.
Methods: In the first phase, the critical success factors were identified and categorized through interviews with experts in the health tourism supply chain of Ayatollah Yathribi Hospital in Kashan. In the second phase, a panel of experts was formed, and the model of critical success factors was designed through an ISM.
Results: After the interviews with experts, 70 critical success factors were obtained, which were classified into 12 general categories. Finally, through the panel of experts, the model of critical success factors was identified where the environmental management factor had the most impact. Factors of flexibility in the supply chain, supplier management, coordination and cooperation in supply chain, and inventory management were the dependent variables.
Conclusion: Examining the critical success factors of the health tourism supply chain is very important for countries that are interested in improving resilience of this industry. It is also btter for managers, policymakers, and health tourism planners not to overlook the benefits of identifying and analyzing critical success factors at the supply chain level.
