 Introduction: In recent decades organizational culture has been an important theme in management researches due to its potential to affect a range of individually and organizationally outcomes such as commitment, loyalty, turnover and satisfaction. Organizational commitment has been defined as the relative strengths of an individual's identification with, and involvement in the organization. To find the relationship between these two important concepts in the Yazd biggest teaching hospital.

Methods: This analytical - applied study is carried out in 2007 summer. The research population comprised employees of Shahid Saddoghi hospital. The sample comprised of 76 employees. The data was collected by a standard questionnaire, and analyzed by SPSS - 14software and Pearson correlation test.

 Results: "Rewards" and "teamwork" have significant correlation with employees' organizational commitment but "training and development" and "organizational communication" don't have significant correlation with employees' organizational commitment. Conclusion: Designing an appropriate and justified "reward mechanism" and development of "teamwork" skills between employees can increase their organizational commitment positively and improve hospital performances.
