مقدمه: با درخت دانش می‌توان به رصد پژوهشها و دانش تولید شده برای اطمینان از رشد و تداوم فعالیتهای دانش‌محور پرداخت. پژوهش حاضر با هدف ارائه مدلی برای ترسیم درخت دانش در مراکز تحقیقاتی علوم پزشکی است.
روش‌ها: پژوهش حاضر از نوع کاربردی با رویکرد کمی از نوع توصیفی- تحلیلی است. جامعه آماری شامل کارکنان ستاد پژوهش دانشگاه،  مدیران مراکز تحقیقاتی، خبرگان حوزه سلامت و مدیریت دانش است. نمونه‌گیری به‌صورت هدفمند با حداکثر تنوع انجام شد. برای روایی محتوایی از گروه خبرگان هشت نفری و شاخص روایی محتوایی (CVI)  استفاده شد.
یافتهها: پنج گام ترسیم درخت دانش در مراکز پژوهشی شامل شناسایی زمینههای دانشی (بررسی راهبردها و اسناد بالادستی، شناسایی زمینه­ های دانشی، شناسایی انواع دانش و ساختار دانشی)، ترسیم درخت دانش (تعیین دارایی‌های دانشی، شناسایی ذی­نفعان و کاربران دانش، تحلیل نیاز دانشی و تعیین وضعیت موجود، تشکیل کارگروه ترسیم درخت دانش)، تعیین چارچوب درخت دانش (تعیین قلمرو دانشی، تعیین نوع درخت دانش، تعیین رویکرد تدوین درخت دانش)، گردآوری و تحلیل کلیدواژههای دانشی (طراحی ابزار اکتساب، استخراج کلیدواژه‌های نماینده دانش، تشکیل کاربرگ دانشی افراد، دسته‌بندی و یکپارچه‌سازی کلیدواژه‌ها) و در نهایت، طراحی و اعتباریابی (ایجاد ساختار، ترسیم روابط، بصری‌سازی، اعتبارسنجی، تکمیل و به­روزرسانی) میباشد.
نتیجهگیری:
در مراکز تحقیقاتی، بازنمایی دانش از طریق نمایش درخت دانش، توصیف ویژگی دانش و رابطه دانش، و ساخت درخت دانش محقق می‌شود. این کار منجر به بهبود کارایی و کیفیت دانش تولید شده و دقت در قضاوت به‌واسطه ایجاد ارتباط بین دانش­های مختلف می­شود.
