Introduction: The emigration process of nurses as the main human resources of the health system is worrying. The study aimed to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and the desire to emigrate among the nurses in Tehran.
Methods: This correlational study was performed on the nurses of public hospitals in Tehran. We used random classified sampling to determine the hospitals. A research questionnaire was also used, including three sections: demographic information, job satisfaction, and desire to emigrate. The content validity of the questionnaire was 9.5, and the obtained Cronbach’s alpha was 0.89. The SPSS software was used to analyze the data.
Results: The average level of the desire to emigrate was high (30.2). The job satisfaction of the participants was reported to be moderate. There was a significant negative correlation between job satisfaction and desire to emigrate (p < 0.05, r =-0.24). The correlation between job satisfaction aspects, including the job situation, job environment, salary and benefits, and social attitude to the nursing profession with the desire to emigrate, was also meaningful. However, there was not any statistical relationship between colleagues in the job environment and the job’s effect on the personal life and the desire to emigrate.
Conclusion: This study showed that the nurses had a high desire to emigrate. There was a significant relationship between the desire to emigrate and the job satisfaction of nurses. Increasing the satisfaction of different aspects of the job can prevent the educated and valuable members in the healthcare system from leaving the country.

Introduction: Despite the implementation of hospital information system, in some countries, medical records are still documented in traditional ways. Incomplete documentation in medical records can lead to inappropriate medical decisions and higher costs. The purpose of this study was to investigate the deficiencies of the main forms in medical records by the role of documentarians.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in Shafa hospital in Kerman in 2019-2020. The medical records of this hospital were randomly selected. The completion or non-completion of data elements in the main forms of medical records was examined using a valid and reliable checklist. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in SPSS 24.
Results: The result of this study demonstrated that 34.70% of the selected records for each patient were incomplete. In most forms, ward secretaries did not complete the relevant data elelments. In other forms, nurses and physicians did not complete more than half of the data elelments. The highest number of deficiencies were observed in the electrocardiogram attachment sheets, emergency records, and radiographic request forms, respectively.
Conclusion: Some data elements such as demographic information, initial diagnosis, final diagnosis, and signatures were not completed by ward secretaries, physicians, and nurses. Non-completion of data elements may lead to problems in providing services to patients. Evaluating the extent of medical record deficiencies based on the role of documentarians can be effective in modifying the forms and developing future training programs.

Introduction: The heart is one of the main organs of the human body, and its unhealthiness is an important factor in human mortality. Heart disease may be asymptomatic, but medical tests can predict and diagnose it. Diagnosis of heart disease requires extensive experience of specialist physicians. The aim of this study is to help physicians diagnose heart disease based on hybrid Binary Grasshopper Optimization (BGO) Algorithm and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). The BGO algorithm is used for feature selection (FS), and the KNN is used for classification.
Methods: In this study, the medical records of 270 patients in the field of heart disease with 13 features were evaluated. The number of patients is equal to 120 and the absence of disease is equal to 150, so the data set is balanced. Patient information is taken from the standard UCI (University of California, Irvine) database. The evaluation of the proposed model has been done in MATLAB simulation.
Results: According to the evaluations, the accuracy was 89.82%, the sensitivity was 89.61%, and the specificity was 90.41%, which are acceptable compared to the results of previous studies in the field of heart disease. Also, the percentage of accuracy of the proposed method based on 7 features (Age, Sex, Chest Pain, BP, Electrocardiographic, Angina, and Thallium) is equal to 90.35%.
Conclusion: According to the results of this study, for the diagnosis of heart disease, the proposed method has been more effective in diagnosing the disease and selecting important features in comparison with previous methods.

Introduction: Nowadays, measuring the quality of services in order to effectively allocate resources and ensure a higher level of patient satisfaction is on the agenda of healthcare managers. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible gap between the perception and expectation of service quality from patients and managers’ perspective in the selected outpatient clinics affiliated with hospitals of Iran University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: This descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was conducted in 2019. The required data were collected based on a valid and reliable questionnaire (SERVQUAL). Chi-square and Mann-Whitney U tests were used to analyze the data. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.
Results: The patients' expectation (4.76) was higher than managers’ expectation (4.58), while the patients' perception level of service quality (3.20) was lower than the managers' perception level (3.73). The gap between expectation and perception of patients in all dimensions was statistically significant; moreover, the highest gap was found in the responsiveness dimension. From the managers' viewpoint, a significant relationship was reported between the expectation and perception gap in all dimensions except the responsiveness one. Moreover, the highest mean score gap was related to the tangibility dimension (P-Value = -1.73).
Conclusion: There was a negative gap between the expectations and perceptions from managers and patients’ perspectives in all the service quality dimensions. Hospital managers should attempt to reduce the gap between the expectation and perception by providing timely services and improving staff communication skills.

Introduction: In both developed and developing countries, in urban and rural areas, communities are experiencing an epidemic of non-communicable diseases. Empowering people to deal effectively with this epidemic and its risk factors is essential. Therefore, in order to determine the educational needs, this study examined the level of attitude, knowledge, and practice of clients in rural health centers in relation to some risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study was conducted on 245 clients, aged 18 to 60, in rural health centers of South Khorasan province in 2017. Data were collected over a period of four weeks and analyzed with descriptive and analytical statistical methods (Pearson correlation coefficient and t-test), at the significance level of 0.05, using SPSS software version18.
Results: The mean age of the subjects was 38.5 years. The mean score of knowledge and practice of individuals in relation to cardiovascular risk factors was favorable, but the mean score of attitude was low. The results of Pearson correlation test showed that there was a significant relationship between the mean score of knowledge, attitude, and practice of individuals. The strongest relationship was between knowledge and attitude(r=0/46). According to the independent t-test, there was no significant relationship between the history of hypertension and knowledge (p = 0.7), attitude (p = 0.5) and performance (p = 0.6).
Conclusion: Although, for the success of people's empowerment policy, it is necessary to pay attention to all three dimensions of attitude, awareness, and performance, the findings of this study showed a low level of attitude. Due to the relationship between attitude and lifestyle choices and exposure to risk factors of cardiovascular disease, it is recommended that we adopt an appropriate educational policy to improve the attitude of individuals.

Introduction: Considering that competitive advantage is the basis of strategic management, the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between electronic human resource management, competitive advantage, and human resource flexibility.

Using Cochran formula, 341 people were taken as the final sample. The data collection tool in this study was a standard questionnaire whose validity and reliability had been confirmed in previous studies. The data were then analyzed by SPSS and LISREL software.
Results: The results of the tests showed that electronic human resource management with 0/76 impact factor had a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage, and the one with 0/66 impact factor had a positive and significant effect on flexibility of human resources. Also, human resource flexibility with 0/35 impact factor had a positive and significant impact on competitive advantage.
Conclusion: Considering the mediating role of the human resources flexibility in the relationship between electronic human resources with competitive advantage, we need to invest in the electronic system related sectors to improve strategic decision-making procedures in the field of appropriate investment in human resources and increased competitive advantage.
