Job satisfaction not only plays a significant role in achieving organizational objectives it also playas a significant part in the health of individuals as well as the society, thus the influencing factors must be examined by the administrators to correct the pitfalls and reinforce the strengths through careful recognition of opportunities and threats. The objectieve of the present study aimed to reach that end. Methods: The present study is a descriptive - analytical type performed on 324 randomly selected personnel of Birjand University of Medical Sciences. Job description index was used as the instrument for collecting. Data were Analyzed by Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and k2 using SPSS software.
