Thus, two million people are infected by them in the country each year. The most important hospital acquired infections are: urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and wound infections. In an article in 1973 in Nebraska journal, the necessary requirements for controlling hospital infections were introduced. There are many alterations in recent decades in this matter and the present study will discuss the developments in infection control in hospital.
